Terms of Service — Ranky

These Terms govern your use of Ranky (askranky.com, the "Service"), operated by Shai Shotashvili, Exempt Dealer (Osek Patur) No. 322713082, Etzel 8, Bat Yam, Israel ("we", "us"). By creating an account, running a scan or paying, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Hebrew version of these Terms prevails if the two versions differ.

1. The Service

1.1 Ranky sends questions about a business category and city to third-party AI systems through their APIs (currently OpenAI, Google Gemini and Perplexity), and reports whether and how often your business and competitors are mentioned, which sources are cited, and suggested fixes.
1.2 Results come from third-party systems we do not control. They vary between runs, locations and over time, and may differ from consumer apps (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, etc.). See the AI Results Disclaimer. We do not guarantee any ranking, mention, traffic, lead or revenue.
1.3 Ranky is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Google or Perplexity.

2. Eligibility and accounts

2.1 You must be 18+ and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2.2 Access is via a magic link / private dashboard link sent to your email. Keep it confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at shaysho1111@gmail.com if you suspect misuse.
2.3 Provide accurate information (email, business name, website, category, city).

3. Free scan

A limited free scan is offered, with daily limits per IP address and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). An email address that already received a free report gets that report back instead of a new scan. We may change or withdraw the free scan at any time.

4. Paid plans, prices and taxes

4.1 Plans, prices, included businesses/questions/competitors, scan cadence and monthly check caps are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Caps exist to control costs; when a cap is reached, further scans pause until the next period.
4.2 Ranky is operated by an exempt dealer (עוסק פטור). No VAT is charged, and prices shown are final prices. For every charge you receive a receipt (קבלה), not a tax invoice, by email. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you in your own jurisdiction.
4.3 Visitors in Israel see prices in Israeli shekels (ILS); other visitors may see prices in US dollars (USD) for reference. Unless the checkout page states otherwise, your card is charged in ILS at the ILS list price shown at checkout. The amount and currency that will be charged are always shown before you pay. Your bank may apply currency-conversion fees.
4.4 We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from the next billing period; you may cancel before then.

5. Recurring billing (standing order / הוראת קבע)

5.1 Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. By subscribing you authorise us, through our payment processor SUMIT (and its card acquirer), to charge your card on the subscription date and every month thereafter until you cancel.
5.2 Card details are entered on the processor's hosted page; we do not see or store full card numbers.
5.3 If a charge fails we notify you by email and the processor may retry. If the payment remains unpaid for 7 days, the account moves to the free tier (your data is kept); no collection fees are charged.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1 You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by email to shaysho1111@gmail.com. Cancellation stops all future charges; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
6.2 Israeli consumers have statutory cancellation rights for distance transactions (14 days; cancellation fee of up to 5% of the price or ILS 100, whichever is lower). Full details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You must not: scan businesses for unlawful purposes, or defame or harass others; use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to bypass limits or caps; resell, scrape or bulk-redistribute raw data or reports; reverse-engineer, overload or probe the Service's security; upload unlawful content; or use the Service in breach of any AI provider's terms. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.

8. Your content and our content

8.1 You keep rights in the information you submit and grant us a licence to use it to provide the Service.
8.2 The Service, software, scoring method and the format of reports are ours. You may use reports internally and share them with your own clients.
8.3 We may publish aggregated, non-identifying statistics (e.g. "most-cited sites for plumbers in Austin").

9. Emails

We send service emails: sign-in links, scan reports, weekly reports that are part of a paid plan, and billing notices (receipts, failed payments, cancellation confirmations). Weekly reports include an unsubscribe link. Product news and tips are sent only if you opt in on the scan form, are labelled as advertising, and can be stopped at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

10. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI providers may change, limit or discontinue their APIs; we may change engines, questions or methodology accordingly. Material adverse changes to paid plans will be notified in advance.

11. Disclaimers and liability

11.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, or mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach, non-payment, or legal requirement, with notice where reasonable. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Customers outside Israel

The Service is operated from Israel. Nothing here waives rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your country or state. Recurring-billing terms are shown before purchase and you can cancel online or by email at any time (consistent with automatic-renewal rules such as California's).

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law grants a consumer the right to sue in their place of residence.
