Cookie and Local Storage Policy — Ranky

The Hebrew version of this policy prevails over the English translation if they differ. This is a draft for information and is not legal advice.
1. Summary
- Ranky (askranky.com) uses only strictly necessary and functional storage: small items that make the site work, remember choices you made, and keep it secure.
- We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media pixels, tracking, profiling or fingerprinting, and we have not added any third-party tracker. Because there are no optional cookies, there is nothing to accept or reject: the notice on the site only informs you, and you can reopen it at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Our servers do not set cookies on public pages. The two cookies below are created by the site's own script in your browser, and only when you press the language or currency switch.
- We do not sell or share personal data (including for cross-context behavioural advertising). We recognise the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: since we neither sell nor share, there is nothing for it to switch off.

Strictly necessary items cannot be switched off on our side because the site would not work without them. Items marked "functional" are created only after you act (a switch, a menu choice).
4. What we do not use
Google Analytics or any other analytics, advertising or retargeting cookies, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or X pixels, session replay, A/B-testing or heat-map tools, or any third-party tracker. If we ever add an optional category, we will first ask for your consent through the notice and will not load it until you accept, and we will update this policy.
5. How to control or delete these items
- Cookie notice: use "Cookie settings" in the footer to reopen the notice and read this summary.
- Accessibility settings: open the accessibility menu and press "Reset all".
- Your browser: you can block or delete cookies, local storage and session storage in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer this). If you block them, the site still works, but your language or currency choice and your accessibility settings are not remembered, and the bot check may fail.
- Global Privacy Control: you can turn on GPC in a supporting browser or extension. We treat it as a request not to sell or share your data, which we do not do in any case.
6. Legal basis and your rights
Strictly necessary and functional storage is used to provide the service you asked for, to keep it secure and to remember choices you made; it does not collect marketing data. This policy is meant to be consistent with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended (including Amendment 13), and, for visitors from the US, with the notice requirements of state privacy laws such as the CCPA. We will update this page and its date if the storage we use changes. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
